GermGauge is being built for parents who wonder, “Is this going around, or is it just my kid?” Our goal is a local illness outlook that’s readable in five seconds, bringing public health signals and anonymous parent check-ins into one clear picture.

We plan to start in one metro, working with daycare pilot partners before expanding. No names or exact addresses in check-ins, minimum report counts for daycare-level trends, and honest disclosure of data gaps are central to the design.
